2023년 처음으로 개최하는 제1회 <한·아세안 지식재산 협력 컨퍼런스>는 아세안 지식재산 전문가들과 한국의 전문가들 간의 소중한 지식과 경험의 민간 교류의 장으로서, 아시아의 문화 보존과 새로운 지식재산 창출을 위한 협력의 자리입니다. 아시아의 다양한 문화 유산을 지식재산으로 재발견하고, 이를 통해 보호 및 활용을 지속적으로 협력하는 데 중점을 둡니다.

컨퍼런스의 목표는 다음과 같습니다:

• 아시아와 아세안 지역의 문화 다양성을 강조하고 보존하기 위한 정책과 노력을 공유합니다.
• 아시아 지식재산의 창출·보호현황과 발전방향 및 과제를 논의합니다.

본 컨퍼런스는 한·아세안의 긴밀한 협력을 강화하고 지식재산과 문화를 보존하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 개최됩니다.

The 1^st <Korea-ASEAN Intellectual Property Cooperation Conference> held in 2023 serves as a platform for the exchange of valuable insights and experiences among experts in ASEAN intellectual property and Korean experts. It also provides an opportunity for collaborative efforts aimed at preserving Asian culture and generating new intellectual property. The primary goal of the conference is to explore Asia's rich cultural heritage as intellectual property and foster ongoing collaboration for its preservation and effective utilization.

The conference goals are:

• To share policies and initiatives aimed at highlighting and preserving cultural diversity in Asia and the ASEAN region
• To engage in discussions regarding the current state of Asian intellectual property creation and protection, charting future directions, and identifying key tasks
• To facilitate networking opportunities among ASEAN intellectual property experts and experts from Korea
• To underscore the importance of international collaboration and explore avenues for the advancement of intellectual property, rooted in culture and technology, across Asia and the ASEAN

This conference is an integral part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen the bonds between Korea and ASEAN, with a specific focus on the preservation of intellectual property and culture.
