Purpose of the Event
한·아세안 지식재산 협력 컨퍼런스는 2023년 출범 이래 문화적 다양성과 창의성을 토대로 지식재산의 보호와 창출이 지니는 의미를 함께 확인하고, 민간이 주도하는 협력 기반을 다져 왔습니다.
Since its launch in 2023, the Korea–ASEAN Intellectual Property Cooperation Conference has built a shared understanding of the significance of IP protection and creation, grounded in cultural diversity and creativity, while strengthening a foundation for private sector-led cooperation.
2023년 제1회에서는 <2023 서울선언>으로 지속 가능한 협력의 기틀을 놓았고, 2024년 제2회에서는 <2024 한·아세안 지식재산 비전선언>을 통해 지식재산의 창출과 보호, 인재양성, 정책 공유를 아우르는 협력 비전을 공동으로 제시하였습니다.
At the inaugural Conference in 2023, the 2023 Seoul Declaration laid the groundwork for sustainable cooperation. In 2024, the second Conference culminated in the 2024 Korea–ASEAN Intellectual Property Vision Declaration, presenting a shared vision for cooperation encompassing IP creation and protection, talent development, and policy exchange.
2025년 제3회는 "AI x IP = 새로운 성장동력"을 주제로 AI 시대 협력의 방향을 모색하는 한편, 참여 기관과 전문가의 저변을 넓혔습니다.
The third Conference, held in 2025 under the theme "AI x IP = New Growth Engine," explored directions for cooperation in the age of AI while expanding the network of participating organizations and experts.
제4회를 맞은 올해는 "AI 시대, 지식재산 대전환을 통한 한·아세안 모두의 성장과 공동번영"을 주제로, 지식재산 생태계가 전환되는 흐름 속에서 실질적인 협력 과제를 다루며, 한국과 아세안의 IP 관계자들이 지속적으로 소통하고 연결되는 네트워크 창구로서의 역할을 강화하고자 합니다.
Now in its fourth year, the Conference is held under the theme "AI x IP = Shared Growth and Prosperity." Against the backdrop of a transforming IP ecosystem, it will explore concrete areas for cooperation and further strengthen its role as a platform for sustained dialogue and meaningful connections among IP stakeholders in Korea and ASEAN.
행사가 지향하는 바는 다음과 같습니다.
- 경제·산업·문화 분야에서 지식재산의 가치 인식 제고
- AI와 IP융합에 따른 환경 변화 대응 및 산업·비즈니스 혁신 방안 논의
- 지속 가능한 미래를 위한 한·아세안 협력 전략 도출
- 글로벌 협력을 통한 상호 발전 및 한·아세안 지식재산 공동체 기반의 창의 생태계 조성
The Conference aims to:
- Raise awareness of the value of intellectual property across the economic, industrial, and cultural sectors
- Explore responses to changes arising from the convergence of AI and IP, and discuss approaches to industrial and business innovation
- Develop cooperative strategies for a sustainable future between Korea and ASEAN
- Promote mutual development through global cooperation and foster a creative ecosystem built on a shared Korea–ASEAN IP community
이번 컨퍼런스가 AI 시대의 변화를 지식재산 기반의 실질적인 성장 기회로 바꾸고, 한국과 아세안이 새로운 지식재산 협력의 모델을 함께 만들어 가는 출발점이 되기를 기대합니다.
We look forward to the Conference serving as a catalyst for turning the changes brought about by AI into tangible opportunities for IP-driven growth and paving the way for a new model of intellectual property cooperation between Korea and ASEAN.
